IMD MBA scholarships. We hope to encourage high achievers from around the world who may not have the financial means to apply but have the potential, drive, and passion that we seek. We want to assist you if you have the desire and ability to join this select group.
IMD wants to make the MBA program more diverse, so it gives merit- and need-based MBA scholarships to people who have applied and been accepted into the program.
IMD MBA Scholarships entail supporting documentation.
The scholarships listed below require supporting documentation. You only need to submit the IMD MBA Financial Aid Form once if you are applying for multiple scholarships. (You must first submit your admissions application before completing this form.)
- Deadline: May 1st
Based on your essay response to the case study ‘Hollinger and the Downfall of Conrad Black,’ demonstrate corporate governance and ethics values.
“What, in your opinion, were the Hollinger corporate governance system’s flaws?” What personal insights have you gained from your case study analysis? (750 words)
Submit the IMD MBA Financial Aid Form along with any supporting documentation.
By the 26th of June, the recipient will have been confirmed.
- Deadline: July 1st
Criteria: Be a Latin American citizen (excluding Brazil) and plan to stay for at least three years after graduation. If the candidate does not return to Latin America, the scholarship will be converted into a loan.
“The role of entrepreneurs in moving my country forward and my contribution to that goal,” says the essay. (750 words)
Submit the IMD MBA Financial Aid Form along with any supporting documentation.
By the 26th of August, the recipient will have been confirmed.
- Deadline: July 1

Criteria: Preference is given to women from developing countries (no Nestlé or its subsidiaries employees are eligible).

Submit the IMD MBA Financial Aid Form and any supporting documentation by October 26th.
- Deadline 1st
Criteria: Preference will be given to women who have been forced to leave their home country because of war or a natural disaster, or who have been persecuted for their beliefs.
“Tell us how, as a displaced woman, an MBA at IMD will transform you and, indirectly, other women.” (500 words)

By October 26th, the recipient will have been confirmed.
IMD MBA Scholarships are available for the best all-around applicants.
These scholarships are given to the best overall applicants who meet the additional requirements. There is no need to apply for a scholarship; however, recipients typically have a high GMAT/GRE score and clearly demonstrate qualities such as career advancement, an international outlook, an open mind, and strong interpersonal skills throughout their application and assessment day. At the time of the admission offer, recipients are confirmed.
