- Be classified as an overseas fee payer by the university for tuition fee purposes.
- Begin your studies at the university in September or October 2022 on an on-campus course.

How to Apply Birmingham International Scholarship For Students?
Applicants who meet the above criteria will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
To accept the scholarship, you must formally accept the offer made by the university’s admissions office by the deadline specified on your offer. This can be done through the postgraduate portal.
To fully secure the scholarship, you must also pay the standard £2,000 (GBP) admissions deposit by the deadline specified in your offer letter by the Admissions Office. (Your deposit must be paid by August 31st at 23:59 UK time/GMT+1 for this scholarship selection process.)
When is the deadline for the Birmingham International Scholarship For Students?
We recommend that you apply as soon as possible for the program you want to make sure you can get this scholarship.

Once an admissions offer is made, candidates must meet the deadlines set by the Admissions Office (and stated in their offer letter) to “accept” their offer and pay a deposit, which secures both a place on the Masters degree programme and this scholarship.
To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must have received an unconditional offer and accepted it by August 31 (23:59 UK time/GMT+1). Candidates who receive an unconditional offer after this will be ineligible for this scholarship.
Please keep in mind that the university reserves the right to discontinue the scholarship offer to new applicants at any time.

2. Global Masters Scholarship
The Global Masters International Scholarship For Students is a £10,000 scholarship for international students to help them pay for their studies at the University of Birmingham in 2022/23.
What exactly is a Global Masters Scholarship?
Birmingham is proud of its history of removing educational barriers so that the smartest students can learn and grow to their fullest potential.
In keeping with this tradition, we are pleased to announce the Global Masters International Scholarship For Students for, which will attract and support the most academically talented international students from around the world to our Master’s programs during the academic year 2022–23.
A total of 40 scholarships worth up to £10,000 GBP will be awarded. This award will be deducted from each successful scholar’s total tuition fees.
The application deadline for this scholarship is June 30, 2022, at 23:59 (UK time/GMT+1).
Who can apply for a Global Masters Scholarship?
Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered. Candidates must have:
- I have received and accepted an offer of admission to study for a taught Masters degree at the University of Birmingham UK Campus in the academic year 2022/23.
- Be considered a “domiciled person” in one of the eligible countries.
- Be classified as an overseas fee payer by the university for tuition fee purposes.
- In September or October 2022, they will begin their studies at the university on an on-campus course.
- By June 30, 2022, you must have paid the standard £2,000 admission deposit.
- Be academically outstanding and able to demonstrate this in your scholarship application statement. Candidates must have or expect to get a first-class overall grade in a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent (at least 70% in the UK system).

For instance, we think that a “first-class” degree in the UK is the same as the following grades in the US, India, Nigeria, and China:
- In the United States, a GPA of 3.5 or higher is required.
- In the Indian grading system, 70% is considered satisfactory.
- In the Nigerian grading system, 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) or 6.2 (out of 7.0)
- A top-tier Chinese university gave a grade of 85 percent, while a mid-tier Chinese university gave a grade of 90 percent.
Students who have received a full scholarship or sponsorship covering all of their tuition fees from another internal or external source are ineligible for this scholarship. People who have already gotten other partial scholarships may be able to use this one along with them.
