Infinix Zero 5G is the company’s first 5G smartphone. It is powered by the same MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900 5G processor found in the Tecno Pova 5G. The Infinix Zero 5G ditches the AMOLED display found on the Infinix Zero X and Zero X Pro in favor of an IPS display similar to that found on the Zero X Neo.
Though switching from AMOLED to IPS appears to be a step back, the addition of more battery capacity combined with a more efficient processor may make it better in terms of battery life.
The efficient processor built on 6 nm technology, combined with high-quality LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 built-in storage, may also improve performance. You also get exciting new technologies such as 5G and Wi-Fi 6.

Design and Display
The Infinix Zero 5G has an all-plastic body with a glass front. The front camera is housed in an Infinity-O cutout in the screen’s top center. The three rear cameras are vertically placed on a bump on the back. On the bump are also two dual-LED flashes.
Because the AMOLED display was dropped, the Infinix Zero 5G does not have the under-display fingerprint sensor found on the Infinix Zero X and Zero X Pro. Instead, the fingerprint sensor has been relocated to the side, as it was in the Zero X Neo.
Cameras
On the back of the Infinix Zero, 5G is a 48-megapixel triple AI camera for capturing those wonderful memories. A 48-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2X optical zoom, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor comprise the camera.
The rear camera has two dual-LED flashes and is capable of phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and Panorama. It can also capture a 4K video.
At the front, there’s a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera for selfies. The selfie camera also has a front-facing LED dual-LED flash.
Connectivity
The Infinix Zero 5G has a USB Type-C Port (USB 2.0) for fast charging and USB On the Go. Bluetooth 5.0 LE and A2DP are also included.
The smartphone is equipped with 5G connectivity for lightning-fast downloads, uploads, and streaming. Wi-Fi 6, dual-band Wi-Fi and DLNA are also included.
