King’s College Bosco Tso & Emily Ng Scholarship 2022-23

The Bosco Tso and Emily Ng Scholarship Programme is a fund that helps students who can show they need financial help to go to King’s for a one-year LLM Law program.

The scholarships are worth £22,500 (Home/EU/International) and are intended to help with the cost of your tuition fees and living expenses for the academic year.

Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees plus a living allowance if you are a home student, or will only cover tuition fees if you are an international student.

What is the Bosco Tso and Emily Ng Scholarship all about?

The Bosco Tso and Emily Ng Scholarship Programme has been launched by King’s College London. Mr. Bosco Tso’s generous gift has been established to support students wishing to study law at King’s. The goal of this fund is to give students the chance to advance their legal careers in a place that is known for being the best in the world.

The winner will be chosen based on a personal statement as well as evidence of financial need. Applicants must have a confirmed place in the one-year LLM Law programme at King’s beginning in September 2022.

The scholarship, worth £22,500, is open to all applicants. Each scholarship will cover the entire cost of tuition (plus a living allowance if you are a home student). One scholarship will be available in 2022-23.

What benefits does the scholarship provide?

The scholarship is intended to assist the winner with tuition and living expenses while studying. One scholarship will be available in 2022-23.

Domestic/EU students: The scholarship will be valued at £22,500. This will include £19,050 for full tuition and £3,450 for living expenses.

The scholarship will be worth £22,500 to international students. This will cover the majority of your tuition costs (£30,150). The remaining fees of £7,650 are your responsibility.

In accordance with King’s terms and conditions, these tuition fees may be subject to additional increases in subsequent years of study.

Am I qualified?

Students who are eligible must be:

They must be able to demonstrate a financial need.

I have submitted a personal statement in writing;

would be willing to provide a year-end report as well as a letter of thanks to the donor.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022.

When will I find out the result of my application?

If your application form was correctly filled out and all required documentation was submitted, you will be notified of the decision by the end of August 2022.

The award of a scholarship to an offeree is contingent on:

The offeree accepts a place on the King’s LLM programme.

The offer-holder must fulfill by July 29, 2022, all academic and English language conditions attached to his or her offer of a place at King’s by July 29, 2022.

A panel of senior academic law school representatives will select the successful candidate.
